Prototype status: This is a local, offline demonstration—not a published or authenticated website. Do not enter real client confidential data yet. Nothing is sent to a server; entries are not automatically saved.
Updated WED financial context: Two separate reported targets: Corporate College annual gross revenue: $1,000,000 (interpretation to confirm), and entire WED division annual contribution to MCC after expenses: $1,000,000. These are not interchangeable. The financial definitions and what expenses are included in each contract must be verified. Avoid counting any expense twice.

1. Define the training opportunity

Editable defaults are placeholders pending MCC approval.

2. Estimate direct project costs

Enter total project costs, not hourly rates. Use zero where a cost does not apply.
Enter expenses only once. Confirm whether any staff, facility, or administrative operating costs are already embedded in the rates above before adding separate allocations.

2B. Verify included operating costs

Do not double-count costs. Use this only for an additional cost that has not already been included in the direct-cost entries. A blank field means contract-level net profit is unverified until Finance confirms which operating expenses are already captured. A populated field produces an illustrative result, not audited profit.

2C. Corporate College annual gross revenue goal

Assumption pending confirmation: the $1,000,000 revenue goal applies to Corporate College and means gross annual revenue before expenses. Revenue attainment is not profit or after-expense contribution.

Enter verified Corporate College year-to-date revenue to calculate progress.

2D. Division-wide WED after-expense contribution goal

The $1,000,000 annual contribution requirement is a department portfolio goal, not a $1 million requirement on each quote. Enter year-to-date department-wide financials only if they are verified and cover the same WED units and reporting period.

Enter both revenue and expenses to calculate progress.

Results are a simplified year-to-date contribution illustration. They do not forecast year-end results, and a single quote is not automatically added to verified WED financials.

4. Price recovery / client negotiation

Model specific direct-cost savings

Enter defensible savings against each cost line (e.g., using existing curriculum). Savings must be validated before quoting.

Potential scope adjustments to evaluate

  • Use an existing curriculum instead of new development.
  • Adjust instructor scheduling or group closely related sessions.
  • Move appropriate theory modules online while retaining required practical instruction.
  • Ask whether client-provided space or approved materials can reduce costs.
  • Change cohort size or phase delivery—only when quality and safety permit.
These are options for evaluation, not guaranteed savings. No changes to required instruction, credential requirements, or safety standards should be assumed.
